BOARD OF APPEALS
Board of Appeals must hear and decide appeals from any order,
requirement, decision or determination made by any administrative
official charged with zoning ordinance enforcement. It also hears and
decides matters referred to it in the Township Zoning Ordinance and may
grant non-use (dimensional) variances if practical difficulty or unnecessary hardship would
result in conforming with the ordinance. The ZBA cannot hear
appeals made pertaining to the Site Plan Review, Planned Unit
Development, Site Condominium or Special Land Use decisons. The Board consists of one (1)
Planning Commissioner and two (2) residents, with one (1) alternate
member to serve in the event of a conflict of interest or absence.
The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA)
does not have a regular meeting schedule. Hearings are scheduled as
needed, according to the laws governing proper notification and posting.
