The upcoming election is the General Election on November 3, 2020. Due to a clerical error in the August 4 ballot wording, the passage of the fire protection millage during the August election must be set aside and the question put back before the voters. The millage passed in August will not be levied upon passage of the November millage. Full wording of these ballots can be found on Michigan.gov/vote. You will also find a listing of all candidates and any proposals that may be on the ballot.
Citizens can register to vote or check to see if you are, using the Online Voter Registration found at Michigan.gov/VoterRegistration. You must currently have a Michigan Driver’s License or State ID Card and qualify to vote in the state of Michigan (i.e., citizen, age, residency). Current voters can easily change their address on this site.
This website also answers all of your questions about Absentee Voting. You will find the application and you are able to track your absentee ballot.
***New*** An Absentee Ballot Drop Box has been installed outside at the front of the building. This is available 24/7.
